YGOPRO tournaments

Organized on this forum via the  chatbox every Saturday @ 12:30 P.M. (PST) using the YGOPRO system by me or someone else (reason why "YGOPRO" over "Dueling Network" is mainly because of time, its faster, no arguments over ruling and much smoother.)

Tournament Rules:

• Match duels (best 2/3)
  

• 40 min time limit rounds
  

• If 40 min time limit is reached and duel is still going on you each go to sudden death (the one with the most life points after 5 turns is the winner regardless of duel conditions)
  

• TCG cards are the only ones allowed no OCG cards
  

• If found using OCG cards an automatic loss for that round, best to change your OCG card in the deck for a TCG

Tournament times in (PST):

Draft: 12:30 P.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Hop on this site between these times to get a chance to enter the tournament will only be accepting a max of 32 players but its determined to change.

1st Round: 1:00 P.M. - 1:40 P.M.
2nd Round: 1:45 P.M. - 2:35 P.M.
3rd Round: 2:40 P.M. - 3:20 P.M.
4th Round: 3:25 P.M. - 4:05 P.M.
5th Round: 4:10 P.M. - 4:50 P.M.

*Times above are dependent on the duels assuming they lasts the full 40 mins. but if that's not the case I will start 5 min after all duels have finished the round so the times above are determined to decrease in length


double elimination tournament can be be done where elimination is a possibility

but the swiss-system tournament is preferred and what I will be using where everyone duels until the 5th round. Let me know down below what you guys prefer.

I may participate. I've always been active on ygopro, but it's been on and off. I used to play Yugioh Online. I played since the beta came out all the way until they canceled it. I got 2nd place at a yoc. I don't play IRL. Ygopro has been the only good subsitute for YGO Online. It has everything except an online community with organized tournaments and events. This would be a nice thing if it happens.

I found this site luckily with a lot of googling, but I don't think anybody knows about it. Advertising to other players in ygopro would be good to have a nice tournament. Then, again, the checkmate server never disappoints. There are always some good challenging duels.
